Okeechobee County's first Representative, known in Tallahassee, affectionately, as "Okeechobee Bill"; due to his tireless efforts in getting Okeechobee County created. 

Okeechobee County's World War II Representative, known throughout the state as "Big Boy Hendry", served the county, with diligence, during a time of world crises.

Okeechobee County's interim Representative, a prominent cattleman, and responsible for having The Florida School for Boys placed in Okeechobee County, creating jobs.

Okeechobee County's last Representative, Co-Owner of Okeechobee's largest industry, and responsible for the division of Lake Okeechobee, for gas tax purposes.
